Before accepting one, I review the model, scale, desired finish, timing, and shipping destination. I only take on projects I am confident I can complete well. > [!si-status] Studio status · Limited availability > Inquiries are welcome. Each request is reviewed individually after the model and scope are clear; sending an inquiry does not reserve a project slot. ## Figure commissions My working release catalogue tracks models from creators including NomNom Figures, Bulkamancer, Kuru Figure, and Tanuki Figures. A project can begin with one of those releases, another model I can legally print, or a specific sculpt sourced for the project. > [!si-service] Printed and painted figures > Most projects begin with a digital model I can legally print. I handle print preparation, cleanup, assembly, painting, and final presentation according to the agreed scope. > [!si-service] Specific model sourcing > Start with a character, reference image, or link to a specific sculpt. I can check my existing catalogue, identify the original creator, or purchase a single model for the project. Any required file purchase is listed in the estimate, and the project proceeds only when the creator's terms permit the intended use. > [!si-service] Finish and presentation planning > Color direction, assembly choices, display priorities, and shipping-sensitive joins are agreed before production. Large modifications, extensive repairs, and unclear-source kits may be declined. Already own a physical kit? Customer-supplied kits can also be considered after reviewing their condition, completeness, and scale. The client covers the cost of sending the kit to Sixth Index. ## How a project works 1. **Inquiry** — share the character or model, a creator link or reference image when available, your location, goals, and timing. 2. **Sourcing and review** — identify the sculpt, confirm the creator's terms and availability, review any physical kit, and decide whether the project is a good fit. 3. **Quote and agreement** — document the file or kit, scope, color direction, price, payment schedule, insured shipping cost, and expected timeline. 4. **Project start** — begin after the written quote is accepted and the first payment is received. 5. **Production** — share photos at payment milestones and whenever a decision or approval is needed. 6. **Approval and delivery** — approve final photos and settle the final invoice. I then package the piece securely and ship it with insurance. ## Payment options Clients may pay the full project total up front or use the standard four-part schedule: 1. **25% to begin** — reserves the project and covers initial sourcing, preparation, and materials. 2. **25% when ready for paint** — due after the print is cleaned up, fitted and magnetized as needed, test assembled, and primed when appropriate. Photos are provided before payment. 3. **25% after base colors** — due after the approved base colors are applied and shown in progress photos, before detailed painting and final finishing continue. 4. **25% before shipment** — due after final photos are approved and before the completed piece ships. Progress photos accompany each milestone. Work pauses at each milestone and resumes after the next invoice is paid. Required model or file purchases are identified in the quote and purchased only after the first payment. The client pays the insured shipping cost, which is included in the initial quote. Payments for materials already purchased and work already completed are not refundable. If Sixth Index cannot complete a project, any payment for work that has not begun will be returned. The exact milestones may be adjusted in writing for a customer-supplied kit or another unusual project. ## Project boundaries - No guaranteed rush work or fixed turnaround until the model and scope are reviewed. - Access to a file does not automatically include the right to print it for a paid project; creator terms must allow the intended use. - The color direction is agreed before painting. Base-color photos confirm that direction rather than reopening the design; major changes to an approved scheme require a revised quote and timeline. - Final-photo approval includes reasonable corrections and touch-ups, not open-ended redesign. - Finished pieces are packaged by Sixth Index and shipped with carrier insurance. Loss or damage handling and any project-specific terms are included in the written quote before the first invoice. **[[Model Site/Inquiry|Prepare a project inquiry →]]**
