Here you can find my collection of resources I’ve used over the years. I will try to maintain the list, but I’ve noticed some come and go with time, so I cannot guarantee anything. I’ve put some minor notes below on a few of the more important ones. #### Resin Kits If you wish to purchase resin figurines and working with them, I recommend checking out [E2046](https://www.e2046.com) and [GK-M](https://www.shop2000.com.tw/GK-M). They have a huge selection and the quality of the kits is really good for the price as well. E2046 used to have an active forum where people would post pics as well, but they got rid of it in favor of gallery pics. While some details and comments are lacking, there are often one or two jobs posted for most kits to give you some ideas and see it painted. I am currently working on my first kit from GK-M and it’s quality is fantastic, requiring very little cleanup. Their selection is smaller I think and a little different, but shipment from GK-M came faster than expected and again quality so far has been outstanding. ### Gunpla For Gunpla, thus far I used to buy my kits and paints from Hobbywave, but they have since closed unfortunately. I’m still working through backlog (I bought more than I should during hobbywave closing sales) so I haven’t shopped for Gunpla from many other places, but **Gundam Planet** has a decent selection as well and some good tools (their nippers are a nice alternative to the God Hand nippers). Also check out **/r/gunpla** on Reddit for sharing with others. I used to really enjoy the ZeroGunz forums years ago and all the builders there were amazing, but due to technical issues that eventually fell apart. The crew somewhat restructured on Facebook in a ZeroGunz group, but it’s pretty inactive and not like it used to be, but they will always have a place in my heart! With that said, /r/gunpla is an amazing community, although much, much larger and diverse. ### Paints This is where I struggle the most lately. I’m a big fan of lacquers. Color and almost exclusively use Mr. Color lines of paint. However, they are somewhat hard to come by. A lot of sites carry them, but stock is a hit or miss on certain colors. For large generic orders, I may try Gundam Planet if they have what I’m looking for in stock. Otherwise, these days I find myself picking and choosing specific bottles as needed from random sellers amazon or ebay. Things like Mr. Color leveling thinner (my go to thinner) are always very hard to find in stock pretty much everywhere I look, so buy it when you find it (or don’t, so I can!) Gaia Notes also seems to have some decent paints, especially if you venture into resin kits and are looking for more variety for skin tones. These too are difficult to find in my experience. **Seal Model** carries them but shipping to USA is pretty slow (they say 2 months and it actually does take 2 months, package tracking doesn’t really work either so you just have to wait and one day they will show up). They have faster shipment options but they have pretty tight restrictions around how much paint you can order for the faster options. Lastly, I’m a fan of Alclad II paints. They are actually some of my favorite and by far easiest to use (come pre-thinned ready to go!). You will find they carry a good variety for your shiny and metallic style colors. ### Misc Links - [E2046](http://www.e2046.com "For resin figures, E2046 is now essentially the only place I shop. The quality is good and prices good as well. Much better than shopping on eBay getting low quality kits for just a slightly lower cost. Only downside is plan for about a month for shipment") - [Gundam Store and More](http://www.gundamstoreandmore.com "Sells mostly gundam kits along with some other items, but very few modeling supplies. Nevertheless, shipping is reasonable within the USA and they have an excellent club you can join providing you with some awesome deals. This is where I got all my initia") - [G-System Shop](http://www.g-system-shop.com "Sells very nice (and expensive) models. Some are quite large (1/35 scale!). I have yet to buy one of these, but one day I hope to get my hands on one.") - [Toys Logic](http://www.toyslogic.com "Large online store selling both gundam and also a good number of figures as well. I havent ordered from here yet but may be worth considering.") - [Sideshow Collectibles](http://www.sideshowtoy.com "Sells collectible figures. Generally good quality, but expensive. Not so much for modelers, but if you cannot find a specific figure somewhere else check this site and see if they have one ready to buy. They have more American mainstream models available") - [GK-M](https://www.shop2000.com.tw/GK-M "High quality resin kit selection, pretty quick shipping") - [Alclad II](http://alclad2.com "fantastic metallic and shiny paints") - [Seal Model](http://www.sealmodel.com/ "Wide variety of plastic models, some paint options hard to find elsewhere")
