[E2046.com - Zero (Mega Man , FG10359)](https://www.e2046.com/p/27192/&title=mega-man-zero) This build has not been pleasurable and ongoing as I start typing this. It all comes down to probably one major flaw. This kit is meant to use joints and be adjustable, but it did not come with any of the joints. The documentation for building it is pretty poor. It does tell you the size of the joint pins required (4mm, 6mm) but again not provided. To start, I had to first find some joints. There were only a couple options I could find that seemed to look somewhat like what I needed, and neither were perfect, and neither included enough (thus increasing the cost of the kit quite a bit just to get joint parts). Here are the two: - [Custom Ball Joint for MG RG HG Gundam Model,Resin Cast Kit, Action Figures 6-7" Ball Joint Parts Detail Movable Action (SBJ002)](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B098MG6774/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) - These joints are ok. They do have more rotation in multiple directions than the next. However, this design does give them a more awkward look for the joint and the size for all but the smallest ones is too big to fit with the rest of the kit even if you can make the pin ends fit. - [Amazon.com: Custom Ball Joint for MG RG HG Model,Resin Cast Kit, Action Figures 6-7" Ball Joint Parts Detail Movable Action : Toys & Games](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08R8KRS2Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) - This is the better one and I used more of these than the other. They fit better into the kit, especially the middle of each joint which is where the biggest difference is in the two joint sets. Even with these sets, the fit into the pre-drilled holes in resin for the pins was not great. Some were too small and I had to make larger, others were too large and I had to make do or fill in. Outside of not including the joints that connect most of the kit together (and using regular metal pins for a static kit also not sufficient because elbows and knees are now missing), the overall quality of the kit was pretty low. It reminded me of (and maybe it is) older kits from e2046 that need more cleanup, pin holes are accidentally filled in or missing where they should be, and poor instructions. Strangely it also included some extra parts that are not on the instruction manual or photos, I'm not even sure they are for this kit? Still trying to figure it out. - painting - alclad black, candy silver base, transparent red. original I tried hot red instead of transparent but it comes out more a metallic silver pink (not bold enough red). transparent red is more red at least over silver base. I think I had the same issue on Jon's backpack - I tried cobalt candy blue over the black directly to try and give subtle blue hint but it didn't show at all, even full blast. had to put the silver base down first before any blue color would show. It may have turned out more blue than I wanted, will see. - I came back later after airbrushing and tried to add some variations of red here and there to give a little extra bonus. I used a regular brush. - Finishing/building: - The final build may or may not have been rushed, but I was ready to just wrap this kit up. There are a couple parts/joints that move, but most of the figure is static now for one reason or another - The hair was pretty hard to connect. There wasn't really any good contact points for glue or much space. I ended up just using a fair amount of glue, including to the back. This means even if the head joint worked (I think it didn't), it wouldn't be able to move anyways trying to support the hair. - Balance was not great. The figure is back heavy. I ended up pinning and gluing to a base as the only way to keep stable. The leg joints are basically fixed now as well. It is standing and built, but just gluing everything together and in place # Misc Images
